Fall Family Portraits| West Des Moines Family Photographer

This will be my second year in a row photographing this family for their fall portraits. Their session last year could have been something straight out of a movie. The beautiful golden light, the adorable puppy, the sweet camera family kids and of course the lovey dovey parents. Their fall portraits were stunning.

Fast forward to this year, we had rescheduled twice, the oldest daughter was just getting over a terrible cough, the youngest boy was SUPER shy and wanted nothing to do with taking family pictures. Luckily I am an expert with kiddos and after a few crazy jumping contests, we were able to capture those adorable smiles.

I know mom had to be stressing and worrying that we didn't get a single smiling photo of the little guy but that is exactly why she hired a professional. I have trained my eyes and fingers to be ready for those rare moments. With my finger on the shutter button at all times ready to snap multiple shots in the matter of seconds.

Looking at this gallery you'd never be able to tell he didn't want to be in front of the camera... right. haha
