I have found the sweet spot to photographing newborns is around day 5 of life. Of course if mom and baby are healthy and well. The babies are still super sleepy, super curely and make sessions a breeze. I wasn’t able to photograph sweet Theo until he was 19 days old!! I was so nervous...
