36 Weeks Maternity Session

Bless this Mama who braved the cold to have her maternity session outdoors.

We were working on a bit of a time crunch considering a massive snow storm was set to hit the very next day. Although it would have been beautiful to photograph in the snow, I'm not sure 5-9 inches of snow would have been very fun for a pregnant Mama.

The one good thing about being pregnant in the dead of winter, you have all that extra blood running through you to keep warm. ☺️ My hands were frozen and bright red. This Mama was glowing and comfortable.

In the Winter I love to photograph at Jester Park. There are so many beautiful tall pine trees that add such a rich color to the images.

These two are such a sweet couple and are going to be such naturals when that baby boy comes. In just a few short weeks this Mama will go from cradling her stomach to cuddling with her newborn baby. There's nothing better than those newborn snuggles.

I will be excited to return home from my trip in Hawaii to this sweet newborn baby boy. Although I won't be too happy about returning home to Iowa's cold weather. πŸ˜‚ It's all about balance right?

It is such an honor to be able to document such special moments for a family. Thank you so much for letting photograph your maternity session and I can't wait to see you all when the baby arrives.
