36 Weeks Maternity Session
Bless this Mama who braved the cold to have her maternity session outdoors.
We were working on a bit of a time crunch considering a massive snow storm was set to hit the very next day. Although it would have been beautiful to photograph in the snow, I'm not sure 5-9 inches of snow would have been very fun for a pregnant Mama.
The one good thing about being pregnant in the dead of winter, you have all that extra blood running through you to keep warm. βΊοΈ My hands were frozen and bright red. This Mama was glowing and comfortable.
In the Winter I love to photograph at Jester Park. There are so many beautiful tall pine trees that add such a rich color to the images.
These two are such a sweet couple and are going to be such naturals when that baby boy comes. In just a few short weeks this Mama will go from cradling her stomach to cuddling with her newborn baby. There's nothing better than those newborn snuggles.
I will be excited to return home from my trip in Hawaii to this sweet newborn baby boy. Although I won't be too happy about returning home to Iowa's cold weather. π It's all about balance right?
It is such an honor to be able to document such special moments for a family. Thank you so much for letting photograph your maternity session and I can't wait to see you all when the baby arrives.
