Newborn Baby Hudson was 23 days new when I photographed him. He was an absolute dream and let me pose him in almost every pose. I photograph most babies around day five, of course if Mom and baby are doing well. I found that to be the sweet spot but every once and awhile you will have a newborn like Hudson who is cool, and calm.
Around day five babies are still sleepy, and like to be curled up which typically means they pose easily. He/she may have gotten use to the new found space at any age. Twenty day old babies may not want to go into every pose. If your little addition is awake and alert, GREAT! Now we get to see who they really are.

Baby doesn't want to be pose? No problem. There are COUNTLESS unique details I can capture about them. I often hear from parents those are some of their favorite photographs.
Don't forget your child will want to see you in the pictures too. I PROMISE you will NEVER regret getting in a photograph with your child. I promise you when they start growing up you will have a TON of photos of them and wishing you were in those photos too. We can keep it simple, even if it's just in your arms.
