Fall mini session
For this year's fall mini sessions I wanted to shake things up. I purchased course and really focused on leveling up my family sessions. I feel like I have a great handle on my newborn sessions but really want to add a punch to my family sessions.
This fall mini session is a family I have been photographing for years! So I knew they were the perfect fit to try out my new style of photographing and editing.
Just when I thought I had everything planned out perfectly the day of the session was raining all day. I knew from the course I had just taken to not reschedule because storms usually bring beautiful skies. And that was something I REALLY wanted to incorporate into this session.
On my way to the session it began to sprinkle again. By looking at the direction I felt confident it would go by quickly. As soon as I parked and turned off my car I got a tornado watch warning on my phone. EEEEKK. I began to wonder if maybe I shouldn't have waited to reschedule this.
Luckily my clients still showed up ???? and we waited for the brief rain shower to pass and then began our session.
THIS SESSION WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! As usual the family was fantastic. Easy going, really embracing the change of flow from what they are use to. And the sky was FANTASTIC. Constantly changing colors and just giving the most GORGEOUS golden glow.I couldn't have asked for a better session. I am soooo happy I waited it all out.
This is by far my FAVORITE fall mini session I have ever photographed. I think the build up of the entire day, my new education being put to use and the best family ever just made everything so perfect.
